- JJohnVIPNew York City •30 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoFirst time eating here but totally impressed. Olivia was excellent as our waitress and made us feel right at home. The food was way better than anticipated. For an Italian to have good Italian food out is a rarity. This was like being at nonna’s house on a Sunday afternoon. Only thing missing was the couch for the afternoon nap. Excellent food and will definitely be back.More infoEataly Ristorante - Short HillsPrice: Moderate• Italian• Millburn•3.7

- JJeffNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoOur second time at Blue Bottle and we plan to return even though we live over an hour away. The Valentine's Day Prix Fixe meal was deliciously paired, expertly prepared and wonderfully served. Our wait staff, Brian, is an absolute gem. He also served us on our first visit 3 months prior and we were stunned that he recalled where we sat, what we ate and where we stayed for the weekend in nearby Princeton. He was extremely attentive without being intrusive and expertly ensured our evening was wonderful. The stuffed mushrooms and braised red roast duck crepe appetizers were off the chart delicious. Their Blue Bottle salad is simple yet wonderfully balanced. The pan roasted New York strip steaks were cooked to order, including rare for my wife which she loves, but at so many other places is poorly executed. The tomato confit with the meat was so good Brian bought us extra. We had decision anxiety on dessert, but were delighted with the profiteroles and pineapple upside-down cake with caramel sauce. They were so delicious that we went rogue getting a third ala carte dessert, the chocolate pot du creme, which was the best we've ever had.More infoBlue Bottle CafePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Hopewell•4.9

The pizzas and pasta speak for themselves and are some of the best in NJ. The pistachio tiramisu was a great finish to an amazing meal. When my wife and I are celebrating special occasions, we always find ourselves at La Lupa. Keep up the great work.More infoLa LupaPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Manalapan•4.8
