- BBalaGreater Boston •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agosmall, intimate speakeasy bar attached to an old fashioned ice cream parlor. Atmosphere is nice, not too loud, not too dark, but intimate. Booths separate parties so it feels private. Great cocktails, decent tapas style plates and attentive, but not intrusive service. I've been twice and will be back again. Highly recommend.More infoLess Than Greater ThanPrice: Moderate• American• Hudson•4.7

The wait staff truly works as a team, timely picking up dishes and ensuring that your needs are met. They also were super knowledgeable of the menu, so much so I ventured with a gin cocktail (I hate gin) and found that the gin was just like the waiter described (well masked). 10/10More infoPammy'sPrice: Very Expensive• American• Cambridge•4.8

The atmosphere initially struck the perfect balance—comfortable and inviting for a special dining experience. Our waiter, Michael, was truly an experienced professional. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, embodying the type of service that elevates a meal from good to exceptional. Michael ensured everything was timed perfectly, from appetizers to dessert, and his expertise was evident throughout the evening. The food, as always, was impeccable—perfectly prepared and full of flavor. Every dish met the high expectations we’ve come to associate with Abe & Louie’s, making it a truly memorable meal. However, during the second hour of our meal, the experience was marred by noise. Several parties spilled over from the bar into the dining space, creating an overly loud and chaotic environment that detracted from the otherwise refined atmosphere. It was unfortunate and something that could have been better managed by the restaurant. Overall, it was still a very good experience, thanks largely to Michael and the exceptional food. However, the noise issue highlights an area for improvement to ensure that the dining room ambiance remains as polished as the cuisine and service.More infoAbe & Louie’s - BostonPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Back Bay•4.7

The table next to us got their food before they even got their drinks. I do not suggest the chicken bowl extreme dry and bland.More infoTavern in the Square - FraminghamPrice: Moderate• American• Framingham•4.5
