Best Restaurants for Groups in Mechanicsville

Food, service, drinks, 10/10. Each item we ordered was better than the previous.

The atmosphere was full of energy and we loved the lights. Our server Rebecca was so great! She was attentive and answered all our questions and made excellent suggestions. Food was delicious and cooked to perfection. I had Steak Frites and is can with a choice of all of these rich sauces, so gooood! Manager stopped by the table took. It was just a really great dining experience. Highly recommended!

Christmas Eve and the place was packed but running efficiently. The owner was visibly on-site, taking pictures of patrons in front of their beautiful Christmas tree, a very nice touch. My only complaint was that it was a prix fixe menu, which I did not know about when I made the reservation. I also saw nothing on their website to indicate such. The food was excellent and well priced at $95 pp, so we stayed, but would have liked to have known that the full menu was not available before we went.

If you’re looking for an intimate spot to catch up with friends or family and you’re downtown in Richmond, this is your destination! It’s the perfect spot for dinner before the Forum, holiday trip to Jefferson to see the lights, shopping, or a date night. They were also very friendly (our server and the owner) and took great care with our guest who had not only nut allergies, but was also gluten-free. Everything was delicious!

This has been our anniversary spot. I also have celiac and some other allergies and the staff is very knowledgeable and careful. also want to give and honorable mention to the fries that are gluten free and probably the best waffle fries (my partner and I agree). we love this little spot!
