The Treehouse is an East Nashville original restaurant and bar. We strive to source our food locally from within our community and offer inside and outdoor dining options. Come by and enjoy our ever-changing food menu or simply unwind with a craft cocktail, local draft, or glass of wine. We offer full service dinner Monday through Saturday from 5pm - 10pm as well as brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 10am - 3pm. Bastion is the 24-seat restaurant of James Beard Foundation Award Nominee Chef Josh Habiger. It is located in a separate area within the casual cocktail bar of the same name, and it is a part of the Wedgewood Houston neighborhood of Nashville, TN. Bastion's dining room features counter seating around the kitchen for parties of 2 as well as three tables for parties of 3 to 6. Bastion's small team serves a weekly set menu of six dinner courses featuring many dishes with a wide variety of flavors, ingredients, and inspirations. Happy hour was an excellent deal - $5 glasses of sangria or house red/white wine. The house red on HH was delicious and the sangria was great! (Waiter upsold me to add Brandy which was unexpectedly another $10+ to the $5 sangria - really that is the only negative I can say about this place). I have celiac and they have an extensive GF menu that my friend and I both ordered off of so we could share. Best thing we got was probably the goat cheese stuffed peppers and the mushroom flatbread. Absolutely delicious! Excited to go back!

This is one of our favorite places to go to. We have been there with friends who have never been to France and we assure them just how authentic it feels. I would highly recommend Once Upon a Time in France to anyone wanting to experience great French cuisine with a staff that is friendly, informative, and appreciative.

Great, except for all of the wasps. They were outside and INSIDE the restaurant which made for an uncomfortable dining situation.
