The Horse and Groom Inn aims to provide great food and drink in a quintessential, traditional 16th century country inn. Dining is relaxed and informal in a friendly atmosphere. We stock a wide choice of wines by the glass, cask conditioned ales, lagers and ciders. Our guests can enjoy dining in our cosy bar or restaurant areas. We welcome well-behaved dogs on leads.     Very friendly staff. Great service and lovely food. But it was just so chilly in there. People were wearing their coats on the next table. Yes it was a cold day, but no excuse for not boosting up the heat.

    Great service, food was good slightly on the pricey side for what it was. Serving staff were very chatty and friendly made us feel really comfortable. I can recommend the malbec it was fabulous

    Wow. What a lovely discovery this pub is. From the moment we walked in the place felt welcoming, with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. They have a great selection of drinks, including a rather excellent Japanese Whiskey. The food is delicious, freshly prepared, tasty, decent portions without being overwhelmingly large, I had the stacked burger which was superb, my wife had Scampi, which she said was equally tasty. The staff were super friendly, actually having time to stop for a chat, rather than just serve. Such a refreshing change to find a pub that feels like it puts making you feel welcome top of its list. Definitely one to return to.
