- SSarahVIPGreater Boston •10 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoBeauty & Essex is one of my Las Vegas favorites. The atmosphere is fun, and the music is just right as a precursor to a night out. The servers can be a little slow with cocktails, but overall service is great. Our water glasses were never empty and food was well-paced. As a group of 6, we ordered 10 different dishes and 2 sides. This is a family style / sharing type restaurant. We were hungry, but didn’t finish all the food. I would say a moderately hungry group could probably go with 6-7 dishes with 1-2 sides and be fine (assume 1/person + 1/4 of a side). The downside is most of the dishes that were the favorites, are those that only had one portion per person. In our party those were: chicken meatballs, grilled cheese dumplings, and the kale apple salad. Least favorites: French dip sliders, scallops, and the filet. Of the sides, we got French fries and broccolini- both great (get horseradish aioli with the fries if ranch is your usual go to). The drinks are good, but I didn’t see anything I found particularly creative and different from similar establishments. Beauty & Essex is great for groups due to the family style plates and atmosphere. It’s loud, so maybe not the place to have conversation with everyone at the table. However, if you need a place to eat before hitting the town Beauty & Essex has great food with an energizing ambiance.More infoBeauty & Essex- Las VegasPrice: Very Expensive• Speakeasy• The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas•4.8
- CCatVIPHawaii •18 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoI accidentally booked a reservation for 2 instead of 3 (including our 10-year-old) for 7:30 on Christmas night. We called to let them know and were relieved that they were able to accommodate us. The next reservation for 3 was at 10:30 PM when I realized my mistake and tried to change my reservation. The roast chicken a la grand-mere was delicious and perfectly cooked. The frisée & lardon was very good. My daughter got the steak et frites, which was a bit tough but she liked it. Banana Foster was pricey but delicious. Asked if we could room charge but the waiter said it takes 10 minutes. I’m assuming he didn’t want to do the room charge. Overall we enjoyed our dinner and were grateful that the manager approved the change to our reservation.More infoMon Ami Gabi - Las VegasPrice: Expensive• French• Paris Hotel and Casino•4.7
- KKevinLas Vegas •3 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoService: Reservation at 6:00pm. Checked in at 5:45pm. Allowed in at 6:01pm. Receptionists were accommodating. Waiter provided a brief description of dishes when asked. Checked in often. Attentive and patient. Servers described in greater detail the dishes they bring to the table. Food: Miso soup had two thin tofu slices garnished with diced chives. Moderately hot. Sea bass with black bean sauce was homey. Topped with ginger slices and chives. Black bean sauce was great over rice. Black cod with miso was delicate and velvety. Miso glaze was mildly sweet and savory. Black cod melted with every bite. Shrimp with spicy garlic sauce was well-seasoned. Shrimp had a perfect bouncy texture. Cucumber salad with crab had a zesty vinaigrette. Pickled radish wrapped around the crab was a refreshing bite. Cleansed the palate. Vanilla Miso Tart was creamy and delightful. Bento Box: Dark chocolate lava cake had an accompaniment of a variety of berries. A perfect balance of bitter and sweet. Ambience: Warm lighting Moderate chatter R&B/pop musicMore infoNobu - Caesars Palace Las VegasPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Caesars Palace•4.7
- KKevinLas Vegas •2 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe dined on Christmas Day @ 10:15 AM. We had reservations so we were seated immediately. The offerings were plentiful and varied....from Asian, Mexican, Italian, Seafood Station, Carving table, omelets. Our server was a bit laggy, we had to flag her down for refills on coffee and water. The ambience is nice if a tad confusing...I had to remember where we were seated. The price was $99 a person....pricey yes but it was the holiday so no whining. Overall it was very enjoyable and they had good Christmas music as the soundtrack.More infoBacchanal Buffet - Caesars Palace Las VegasPrice: Very Expensive• American• Caesars Palace•4.2
