Johnny’s Downtown, opened in 1993, is similar to the original Johnny’s Bar on Fulton Road, featuring pasta, veal and fish. The setting, a refurbished 1860’s Warehouse District building, formerly a general store, is the drinking and dining spot of locals and business people alike. First time at Blue Point and the food, drink and service were great. We aren't huge seafood people but ordered lobster based on our servers recommendations and do not regret it. We had an 8:30 reservation and the place remained full until we left 90 minutes later which speaks volumes for the restaurant. Only thing we didn't care much for was the margarita which came in a tall pint glass and was very much a sugary mix, otherwise recommended and we will be back.
