Best Restaurants for Groups in St. Clair

It was our first time there after years of hearing about how great the food was. It did not disappoint. The staff was attentive and friendly. Romario was great! The food was simply put…PERFECTION. Definitely recommend and will return in the near future.

My wife and I went here for our 27 Wedding Anniversary dinner. The service and food choices were excellent. Our table we had, gave us a great view of the St. Clair River. Marielle Our waitress did an excellent job waiting and serving us. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back.

My husband and I have dined here in the past and have always enjoyed it. We’ve enjoyed the lobster bisque, oysters, and various entrees like the salmon dishes several times but this is the first time that we’ve been here for Thanksgiving dinner. This was kind of a last minute reservation so all that was available for our party of 6 was high top seating. I’d never sat in that section so I wasn’t sure how comfortable it would be but there was no reason to have had any worries. It was quite comfortable. Some of us opted for the plated Thanksgiving dinner. I’ll admit I’m not a big fan of turkey but I ordered it anyway. It was the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant. It was juicy and flavorful and came with tasty traditional sides. Last year we went to a restaurant that’s considered very upscale and cost twice as much but this was much better. The service was great. I didn’t get our waiter’s name since I missed it and didn’t see it on the bill otherwise I’d call him out for being personable and attentive. When our plates were presented, additional wait staff helped our waiter so that all plates were presented at once. I highly recommend DFH for an evening out or for a special occasion and will consider returning next Thanksgiving.

Excellent service. Great food. Beautiful surroundings. Great Thanksgiving Kids could get food they like as well as the adults. Our server was very attentive as she was very busy ! Love Mitchell’s we frequently go there and always a friendly relaxing experience
