La Masseria Restaurant is inspired from ancient fortified farmhouses that in the Puglia Region of Italy are called “Masseria”. Executive Chef/Co-Owner, Pino Coladonato, grew up on a Farm in Puglia. He was forced to eat whatever was available but soon was tired of bean puree and decided to take matters into his own hands, creating new ways to use the same few ingredients. Now, with limitless ingredients to choose from, fava beans, chickpeas and lentils are still a core element in many of his entrees. Interior Designer Libby Langdon has created a warm, inviting dining atmosphere. Rustic and relaxed, with plenty of old world charm. Oversized iron sconces custom made from antique wrought iron gates punctuate the walls, and artful displays of antique farm tools mixed with various authentic Italian photographs all add to the farmhouse appeal.     Meritage is one of those rare restaurants that gets it right every single time. Over the years, the food quality has been consistently excellent, as has the service. They certainly know how to cook a filet mignon and their drinks are outstanding. All the time. The service staff is excellent. All the time. I always recommend this restaurant.

    First time here. Oysters were great! All the tapas dishes we had were prepared beautifully and most importantly, delicious!! We loved everything we had. We tried the octopus, pork belly, roasted dates and tomato bread. Anastasia was our server and so very pleasant. She made us feel right at home, she made THE BEST dirty martini I have had all year. We'll be back sooner than later!

    What an incredible experience! Some of the most delicious seafood we’ve ever tasted. Server was personable and professional. Ambiance wonderfully stimulating since it’s on the water. Wish we’d known about this hidden gem before but we plan to be regulars now.
