Kokkari (pronounced “Ko-Kar-ee”) is a small fishing village located on the islands of Samos in the Aegean Sea, whose name is derived from the small onions that were once produced in the nearby fields.     Food was very good and the restaurant is so pretty. It's a really beautiful spot. My only complaint is the cost of getting a glass of wine at the RH vault next store while waiting for a table. $70 for 2 glasses seems extreme. Otherwise, loved it.

    We stopped by Ella's bar for appetizers and drinks at the bar while waiting for a friend. Claire W, working the bar, immediately made us feel at home. Cocktails, wine, and a couple of small plates, and everything was perfect. Super yummy, nicely presented, perfect portions. Claire answered all our questions, gave us good insight into what to expect from the small plates, and her wine recommendations were spot-on. Claire also has the perfect personality for the hospitality industry. Warm, open, patient, knowledgeable, and fun. We loved her!!! Next time we fly in to Sacramento, we're definitely heading to Ella's. You should too!!!
