The moment we walked into La Grande Boucherie DC we felt welcomed. The hostess at the entrance shared a little about the beautiful venue before seating us. PRETTY COOL BAR! Our waiter, Steven welcomed us again before introducing himself. His attention made our visit special, as well as the overall staff. We ordered the lobster bisque and the pear salad, the salmon and the steak frites and shared a cheesecake for dessert. We certainly enjoyed our food and dining experience. La Grande Boucherie in NY had already made a good impression on us when we organized a large gathering with family and friends. We had a nice Valentine's Day dinner at Riverwalk. The service was great and all the food and drinks were delicious. We would definitely recommend for a nice, romantic dinner.

The staff were just as welcoming, demonstrating excellent communication and attentiveness. The atmosphere struck a perfect balance between modern elegance and cozy warmth. The course meal exceeded all expectations—each dish was thoughtfully designed with exceptional taste, creativity, and a seamless flow of service. The alcohol pairing was also expertly curated, enhancing the overall experience. What stood out most was Chef Lee’s dedication to sustainability in his restaurant. Very nice Christmas Eve lunch in this bar/restaurant on Yorktown’s “modern” water front. Appetizer was great, entrees were good and the dessert was spectacular. Nice views and extremely friendly service. Visit the book/antique shop across the street for fun nostalgia.
