Best Restaurants for People Watching in Coal Harbour

We tried this restaurant as we all thought great steakhouse. It was a work lunch so we were all polite and ate our steaks. After when I said wellwhat did you think, 2 said ok and 2 a smigde over cooked. I had new york Chicago medium, it looked on the outside exactly the same as the new york medium rare on the outside. Couldn't tell if mine was Chicago or his was. The trio of sauces were yummy and really helped the overcooked steak. Potatoes were great vegetables tasty but small portion. It was ok just not wow.

I initially saw the post about the Christmas lunch buffet on Instagram. I figured it would be a wonderful experience for my parents. The buffet was great with a huge variety. All of the staff were so courteous and helpful. I believe our server's name was Dwayne, super nice and helpful. Thankyou so much! It was a very festive and yummy lunch buffet.

Mahony’s always pours an excellent Guinness! And, we thoroughly enjoyed the Paddy’s Turkey Sandwich seasonal special. Unfortunately, the noise level was off the charts which was odd for lunch time. Service was friendly and attentive.

Alouette was the perfect spot for our anniversary dinner 😍 everything was excellent from the moment we walked in the door.

We had a great early evening light dinner. It was a very busy scene and quite noisy but nevertheless the atmosphere was nice and cozy. We ordered a couple of cocktails including the sushi caesar, Poinsettia and Shibuya but I’d say my favourites were the Shibuya and Poinsettia. The caesar is more on the spicy side. Out of all the food we ordered which included the crispy rice with salmon, scallop miso soup and uni sashimi, etc., the favourites were the seared red tuna, rosemary salted fries and most favourite of all was the Superfood salad with chicken (healthy and delicious). The prices are on the expensive side but to be expected since it is a high-end hotel. The service was excellent, waiter/waitress were attentive and the maître d was first class. Definitely a great place to hang out of for snacks and drinks.
