The Terrace at the famous Sunset Tower Hotel debuted a new look in May of 2018, featuring a refreshed outdoor dining experience with updated furnishings and an elegant new bar. The Tower Bar Restaurant has split views of the city from either side of the lobby. It offers a swank lounge, bar and an al fresco dining experience. Custom made banquettes line the windows that showcase an unparalleled view of the Los Angeles skyline. Art deco design influences include walnut with gold inlay trim in a subtle, muted color scheme. The delectable menu features California Bistro with Italian fare. A dress code is enforced, please call for information.We are now open daily for breakfast and lunch. Dinner is offered six nights a week, Monday-Saturday. We are unable to guarantee a seating preference of indoors or outdoors. Drake's is a swanky, old Hollywood-inspired restaurant with sophisticated cocktails at a large, circular bar.We accept reservations 7 days in advance. Reservations open up at 9 am.     My partner and I had a great experience! We got some drinks at the bar first, then we got seated in the iconic train car for dinner. Our server Simone was amazing! She was super friendly, recommended good items on the menu, and she was all around so wonderful! The drinks were strong and had nice flavors, the food was absolutely delicious! The restaurant is also stunningly beautiful! Completely recommend!!

    From check-in to checkout, everything was seamless. Server and managers touched the table multiple times. Food came out fast. The best items were the wagyu teppanyaki and the whole snapper. I thought music was gonna be loud but it was just perfect volume but then we came in at 5pm on Saturday night so everything and everyone was still family-friendly.

    Superior service experience and delicious food. It is spendy, but completely delivers if your expectations are a classy and classic West Hollywood experience with charm and a gorgeous view. Anthony's over/above service while waiting in the bar area was precious.

    Love the food and ambiance here. Our server however was not attentive. I ordered the spicy salmon on crispy rice and she said three times “it’s raw” I sternly replied I KNOW. She never brought out the spicy tuna and I was really upset about it. When I told her we were celebrating a birthday she finally cracked a smile. Didn’t like the service tonight :(
