Best Restaurants for Quiet Conversation in Austin

Service was impecable from Robert. Longbone Pork Ribeye was absolutely delicious. My wife and I will be coming back.

We had an early Saturday evening dinner (5:30 pm) with another couple. The table was in a nice alcove and very quiet at that time. We had lovely conversation and great food, drinks and dessert. The server was prompt, knowledgeable, and efficient. When we left around 7:30 pm, the bar was very full of customers eating and drinking and was quite lively. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and even more customers were arriving.

Excellent service. The hostess and servers were beyond. They even offered us warm blankets and always kept your drinks refilled the entire evening. We had a fabulous, chill and cozy time. Only things that could make it better would be a reverse happy hour for better value on food items and a hot tea selection.

Fantastic dinner here. Parking available, promptly greeted and seated; our waiter was excellent, made sure we were aware of HH specials and cut-off for ordering from that menu. Both apps we ordered were great, as was the Redfish Anna with lump crab. The fish was a pricey fish but the portion size and quality of the fish, crab and delicious sauce made it more than worthwhile. Highly recommend!!

I had an incredible experience at this Oaxacan gem! The service was absolutely outstanding—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Their variety of moles is a true highlight, each one rich and bursting with authentic flavor. The wagyu deshebrada taco was simply unforgettable—perfectly tender and seasoned to perfection. To top it off, their mezcal selection is extensive, offering something for every palate. Whether you’re a mezcal connoisseur or just curious to try, you’ll find plenty to love here.
