- MMaryVIPSan Diego •7 reviews5.0Dined todayThe wines are outstanding. So is the service and of course the food. This visit we ordered salmon with roasted vegetables and the shrimp in a white wine tomato sauce, served on polenta. And the lasagna. And bruschetta and the budino. I don’t know how they do it but I have had all these dishes at other restaurants and nothing comes close the deliciousness of Isola’s fare. Thank you to Olivio our server who was attentive and kind.More infoIsola La JollaPrice: Moderate• Italian• La Jolla•4.8

- CCarrieSan Diego •8 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a lovely dinner last night at Baci. Adam was our waiter and he was very knowledgeable and pleasant to talk to. The food was all delicious and so well done. We enjoyed a small caesar salad and the prosciutto-wrapped burrata, which was delicious and a creative presentation. The beets were a yummy edition that I must add to my burrata from now on! We enjoyed the lamb ragu pappardelle and the Chilean sea bass for entrees. The pasta was delicious and savory, and the sea bass was cooked to perfection - soft and delicate. With an awesome bottle of wine and some yummy pistachio ice cream for dessert, this was a memorable meal. We will be back to try more things on the menu!More infoBaci Restaurant - San DiegoPrice: Expensive• Italian• Old Town•4.9

- NNanceSan Diego •6 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 16, 2025We planned a belated Valentine dinner prior to a performance across the street and really didn't know what to expect from a restaurant attached to a movie theatre complex. We had a most pleasant experience starting with our waiter, Anthony, who was very energetic, knowledgeable and interesting. The food was excellent and the price point very reasonable, especially for La Jolla. We very much enjoyed the atmosphere. It was very quiet for a Saturday; but we did start at 5:30. We will definitely be back.More infoZENTRL Kitchen + BarPrice: Expensive• Californian• La Jolla•4.3
