We are currently serving our breakfast buffet 7 days/wk, from 7am - 10:30am. The price is now $30/adults and $16/kids (because of the soaring price of eggs), and it includes coffee, tea, or juice. We will not be serving lunch from 12/26 - 3/7, because of a large-scale hotel renovation happening during this period. We open for dinner at 5pm daily. The kitchen closes at 10pm daily. The bar will stay open 45 minutes after the kitchen closes on Sunday - Thursday, and on Friday and Saturday, last call is 11:45pm.Located under the glow of a Cambridge landmark and in the heart of Harvard Square, Nubar restaurant and lounge is now open at the Sheraton Commander Hotel. Helmand Restaurant offers Afghani dishes with a wood-burning oven where the famous flatbread is cooked on one side of the room and an intimate fireplace is on the other side.Helmand Restaurant entrées include tasty choices like qabelee, which is pallow rice baked with chunks of lamb tenderloin, raisins and glazed carrots or mantwo, a homemade pasta shell filled with beef and onions.     Our waitress was amazing, very detail oriented and cordial. The interior design is phenomenal and very aesthetic for pictures and other types of events. Will definitely recommend and will go again when we return to Boston.

    It’s an incredible restaurant, me and my wife celebrated the valentine’s day there and everything was amazing! We loved it😍 to be honest because of some bad reviews I have read it on google map I was very afraid to make the reservation and all the bad reviews were wrong, the food very delicious and The amount of food is sufficient and the girl that she leads our table she was very good and she helped us to pick the right dishes❤️ the vibes make you feel like you in Italy, highly recommended and I will back again

    We have come here before, so felt we knew what to expect. It was one of the few restaurants still taking Valentine reservations. The service was excellent, but the food was subpar in both taste and quality. The sea bass had been prepared and in addition had sat on the pass thru for a while. The steak was overcooked and of mediocre quality. We will not be returning to dine here - it simply isn’t worth it.
