We have a wide selection of bottled beers, ales, prosecco and ciders, include non-alcoholic Peroni & Beavertown Laser Crush.Our restaurant seats 28 people inside and a further 20 outside in our lovely sun-trap garden. Welcome to the Fleece Inn, Bretforton. The Fleece Inn is the perfect rural retreat, the quintessential English country pub. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful Cotswolds and boasting roaring open fires for the winter months, open garden and apple orchard for the summer sun and a friendly welcome all year round. With real ales and ciders aplenty this historical pub is a favourite with Real Ale lovers, and the welcoming atmosphere and good food attract visitors from all over the world.Seasonal and local ingredients are prized, including our famous Asparagus menu in Spring. Reservable tables are in the pub (standard) or undercover in our orchard (outdoor). The Horse and Groom Inn aims to provide great food and drink in a quintessential, traditional 16th century country inn. Dining is relaxed and informal in a friendly atmosphere. We stock a wide choice of wines by the glass, cask conditioned ales, lagers and ciders. Our guests can enjoy dining in our cosy bar or restaurant areas. We welcome well-behaved dogs on leads. Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times. We also have a comfortable outdoor terrace and garden area with picturesque babbling brook. We also have a small in-pub coffee shop and delicatessen! Selling the best of local produce, bread, milk and a selection of luxury food and drink items, the shop is open whenever we are. We also provide great coffees to drink in or take away. Our menu focusses on great steaks and seafood (vegetarian/ vegan always available). Note: There are two pubs called the Horse and Groom in the area - we are the Horse and Groom Inn at Upper Oddington.

    The waitresses were very friendly and accommodating. The burgers were good size, very flavorful and juicy. The coleslaw I got with mine was excellent. Best burger I have had in quite a while. We were very happy and highly recommend this restaurant.

    My parents were down for the weekend and we needed somewhere nice for Sunday lunch. We live in the Cotswolds but had never been here. It did not disappoint. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The fire was on and the pub had a great atmosphere. We all had the Sunday roasts. The beef was cooked to perfection and was extremely soft and tasty. Crispy roast potatoes but not overdone. Great portion size and the Yorkshire puddings were the size of baby’s head! You made my Father’s Day when he asked if there was any crackling left and the waitress came back with a little plateful! :) Would definitely recommend, especially as all food is sourced locally. Thank you for a very pleasant couple of hours.

    Booked online, never been before. Lovely pub with relaxed atmosphere. Staff very friendly and efficient. Food was excellent, lamb’s kidney starter was epic. Steaks were delicious and well cooked. Overall good experience and well worth a visit. Thank you very much.
