The Michelin Starred, Fordwich Arms, located in the smallest town in England, dates as far back as 1828. Daniel and Natasha Smith took over The Fordwich Arms in 2017 and were awarded a Michelin Star within the first year, as well as being in the top 100 gastro pubs in the UK, multiple culinary awards, notable wine awards and various other accredits, a testament to their hair work and talent. The seasonal menus focus on provenance, showcasing the best of local Kentish ingredients, sourced directly from local farms and producers. First time tasing the new menu and it was honestly amazing! We had the taster menu and every course was spot on. We love this place due to not only the food, but the ambience and the service is friendly.

Love this restaurant/pub Fabulous food (with exception of the cod roe snack which none of us were keen on sorry ) Love the way the place has been designed from entrance courtyard to the loos . Lovely fires, candles And staff Sorry we were a group of 6 so were (probably)!! making noise

Superb. Staff were very welcoming and the food was excellent. It is a sharing menu, much like tapas so food arrives when ready rather than how it is ordered. I would highly recommend it.

Great welcome, first class service, excellent food with bumper portion sizes. Brisket was truly melt in mouth and really well seasoned. Our 8 year old grandson loved it and said the presentation of the starters reminded him of Masterchef! Well worth the 80 mile round trip. Highly recommended and we will be back.
