The Ivy restaurant has been a firm fixture on London’s dining and social scene since 1917. The restaurant and private room upstairs are the epitome of real glamour. A shimmering central dining bar in the restaurant draws admiring attention, and the signature harlequin stained-glass windows, oak panelling and striking contemporary art collection ensure the longevity of this very British of dining institutions. Executive Chef Gary Lee creates balanced seasonal menus, featuring Ivy classics, but accounting for today’s tastes, incorporating more Asian dishes, salads and vegetables, and the advent of a “sea and shells” section. Director Fernando Peire leads a strong and experienced team to deliver the unfaltering service for which The Ivy has become well known over the years. The Ivy welcomes customers without reservations at the central dining bar, where the A La Carte and Set menus are both served.

Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old brothel, we take the best meat in the country from the award winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Sunday Roast almost as good as Mum's.Bookings and Walk-Ins available:Monday - Friday 12:00 - 15:00pmMonday - Friday 17:00 - 22:30pmBookings up to 8 guests (Mon-Thurs)Bookings up to 6 guests (Friday)Saturday: 12:00 - 23:00Bookings for lunch and pre-theatre from 12noon to 23:00Bookings up to 6 guestsSunday 12:00 - 20:00Bookings all day for up to 6 guests

To welcome in 2025 we are offering a special lunch and pre-theatre menu. £20 for 2 courses and £25 for 3 (plus service). It is an amazing bargain for the whole of January.L'Escargot is London's oldest and most celebrated French restaurant serving classic French dishes. Favourite dishes include French onion soup, Lobster bisque, oysters, Tournedos "Rossini", grilled lobster, Chateaubriand and of course snails ! L'Escargot was voted one of the most romantic restaurants in London and is a perfect spot to celebrate a birthday or anniversary. If you want to come in just for a drink, upstairs there is a great cocktail bar with reasonably priced cocktails and a bar snack menu. The restaurant has welcomed celebrities such as Coco Chanel, Charles de Gaulle, Maurice Chevalier, Laurence Olivier, Lucien Freud and Francis Bacon. and was a favourite of Princess DianaL'Escargot is located close to all the major West-End theatres, which makes it an excellent pre and post theatre dining spot.

Lovely experience for a belated Christmas get-together. Staff were extremely accommodating and helpful when I asked to extend the party size fairly last minute to our booking date. Exceptional service from the beginning to the end of our experience: staff were so attentive to the point of making sure our water glasses were never empty! Food was delicious. Comments were made that the steaks could have had some form of decoration (a jus at least) to make it look slightly more interesting — but these comments were soon retracted once everyone took a bite. Member of staff spilt some water over one of our party (no issue for us whatsoever) but was so kind in proactively taking a couple of drinks off our bill! A very kind gesture. Will definitely recommend Blacklock to others and would definitely dine again!

Excellent food. Don’t fill up too much on bread as if you have the cod wing starter it’s very generous and you may regret it. We followed with a sublime steak with crispy pink fir potatoes and yummy marmite hollandaise. Powered though despite being full and loved every mouthful!
