Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca.     Went to Hispi for our anniversary. Very nice section of dining room. Music kept to reasonable level.Service a little slow but that was ok for us. Red wine was very cold. It was a very cold day but I think it could have been warmed a bit. Food , wine and coffee very nice and unusually, water offered. Fudge with a chocolate sauce saying 'happy anniversary ' written on the plate was a nice touch. Would go again.

    Had the most outstanding experience at Hawksmoor. Me and my friend went as a late birthday treat us birthday and the staff were incredible our waitress went above and beyond to help us and make sure we had an amazing experience. This is the second time I have visited and service has withheld. The food was absolutely incredible and we are desperate to go back!

    Kiesha and her team were wonderful on Christmas Day… the meal was perfect for us and served at a table by the open fire in a relaxed atmosphere. It was so nice that they limited the tables and allowed us to fully enjoy our meal… it made it all the more enjoyable so top marks to the management. We will be visiting every time we come to Manchester so thank you
