The pub has recently been renovated, including comfortable bedrooms set in seven acres of countryside garden.We are fortunate to be surrounded by the picturesque Norfolk Broads, while Salhouse boasts numerous scenic walks for both guests and four-legged friends to enjoy.The neighbouring village of Wroxham provides plentiful amenities including a department store, local shops and cafes, and is popular with holidaymakers wishing to hire boats - we would all agree that one of the best ways to experience the Broads is on the water!Norfolk also boasts 90 miles of award-winning coastline, with lots of variety to explore. We have visited many establishments for a roast dinner & this has to be one of the we have tried .. service was top notch & food amazing .. waitress suggested trying the dessert & I have to say the spiced apple crumble was delicious & we will definitely be visiting again

Very lovely setting, very relaxing , tables not to near to each other, background music not to loud. Nice and clean. The food was excellent, top quality ingredients, expertly cooked and well presented. All the staff were very welcoming and polite and helpful. Very reasonably priced for the quality and service. Looking forward to returning.

We attended as part of Norfolk Restaurant Week The menu, which we had viewed before , had plenty of good options and we had the assiette of goat's cheese, followed by the pork and the lamb, with sticky toffee pudding to follow. The starter was excellent, the mains very good and the pudding good. The staff were pleasant, engaging and attentive. The main course took a little long to arrive, but they were very busy and we had arrived early, so we didn't mind at all. All in all a very good experience.
