L'histoire légendaire du Diorio Restaurant a commencé au début des années 1920. L'ancien Rocco Diorio proposait une nourriture traditionnelle et de nombreux souvenirs durables pour la plupart des personnes dans les environs de Waterbury. Le restaurant a été fermé en 1980 et rouvert en 1991 après la restauration totale pour revenir à sa splendeur d'origine.
