Nestled into the corner of Spitalfields, we have recently re-branded as a small plates bar, cafe & restaurant, serving up wonderful seasonal plates made with the freshest ingredients, cakes & pastries. All alongside an extensive range of British & Belgian beer, self-imported French wine, Andronica's marvellous coffee & tasty cocktails. Our bar is the product of over 20 years’ work by couple Kay and Peter Sinden, who have now passed on the daily running of the place to their own children. The Coffee Room grew from a small Italian coffee shop by the same name. The aim then is the same as now: to create a warm and welcoming space where different people can come together from their local community to enjoy fantastic food and drink for a reasonable price.
