Best Restaurants for Afternoon Tea in Grand Canal Dock (D4)

Difficilt to fault this Venue in any way. Can only say the Piano music was somewhat loud, however, we were seated right in front of it Other than that everything was lovely and the staff we exceptionally attentive, even remembered this was a birthday outing, brought us Birthday Desserts and sang Happy Birthday. 💛

Dining in The Morrison Grill is consistently a pleasure for myself and friends.We keep returning there for the food , ambiance,and the efficient and friendly service led by Laura the assistant manager . A point to note is that staff do not rush you out in anticaption of a second sitting.

Had afternoon tea in the shelbourne, amazing experience. We arrived out of the rain and our bags and coats were dried by the wonderful staff. Received food promptly, apsolutely gorgeous selection with each item delicately prepared. Hotel was spotless, bathrooms smelled amazing as well as the rest of the hotel. Sublime experience and worth every penny.

Afternoon Tea was lovely. Plenty of food. Selection was varied and very tasty!! So much tea and coffee it was endless. Including latte and cappuccino. Tried the fruit tea too. It was lovely and refreshing at the end. Would come back again.

When making reservation (from USA) I thought that at 1:00pm I was making a lunch reservation. Only to find they only do afternoon tea on Sat and Sun. They did give us lunch but told us that we’d need to order one afternoon tea since it’s their policy! So an extra unnecessary cost. Not impressed by that, the very least it should say that on open Table. Staff were nice and apologized for the policy!
