- DDeborahNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoI've been to Lady Mendl's many times over the years (pre-Covid). I've always enjoyed it. Today seemed noisier than in the past. Is it more crowded? While I liked most sandwiches, I found the avo-hummus and the pumpernickel/cream cheese less interesting. I didn't sample all the teas; I enjoyed the English Breakfast and Earl Grey, less so the coconut. The crepe dessert was delicious!More infoLady MendlsPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Union Square•4.9

Everyone was smiling and helping and wanting our evening to be enjoyed. The meal came so wicked fast we didn’t even have time to enjoy our cocktail, but from beginning to end it was fantastic. Delicious food and wine. Would totally recommend going.More infoEmpire Steak House - Times SquarePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• West New York•4.8
- JjulieLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoMary C was stellar with her service, interaction, and expertise making our afternoon tea experience at The Palm Court more memorable than we could have expected. She was quick to greet us when we sat down and was patient with us when taking our time to decide which tea service to choose. (We chose the Traditional). Yes, there were lots of people during the holiday season, but Mary C was patient and kind, taking time to explain all the yummy things to eat. She even boxed up the extra treats we could not finish. Well worth the time and expense for an invaluable afternoon with Mary C. She is as much an asset as Eloise and we hope the Plaza hangs a portrait of her on their wall as well.More infoThe Palm Court at The Plaza HotelPrice: Very Expensive• American• Midtown East•4.4
