- LLouiseWest Sussex •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThis was my second visit to Tottington Manor as a follow-up to a function I attended late last year, and my first visit to Terra. On arrival we were warmly greeted by the very charming Louis, Tottington'a General Manager, who was charming and is clearly a real asset to Tottington. We were seated quickly and left to peruse the menu and our orders were taken soon thereafter although we were not rushed. My mother and I both chose to skip the starters and go straight for a main course. Mum had lamb while I had the chicken dish and both were exceptional - beautifully presented and cooked and seasoned to perfection. We then opted for the mini bite size desserts which were a taste sensation, if a tad small. All in all this was a really pleasing visit where we enjoyed superb food and excellent yet very discreet service which I very much appreciated. Indeed, I am already planning my next visit with a very discerning friend who I am hoping will be similarly impressed. My sincere thanks to Louis and the wider team, and a very big pat on the back to all.More infoTerra Restaurant at TottingtonPrice: Very Expensive• Farm-to-table• Henfield•4.7

- VvinothikaaLondon •3 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 27, 2024We had an exceptional experience during our visit. The outside staff went above and beyond by assisting me as I arrived with my baby and two toddlers in tow. Their kindness and attentiveness made us feel very comfortable, and the entire staff exceeded our expectations. The afternoon tea was delightful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. There were a couple of other families with toddlers and babies as well. My own toddlers, aged 3 and 6, were seated throughout the meal. Once they finished eating, they were excited to see the Christmas tree outside and walked a little quickly in their excitement. Unfortunately, one of the other guests, an older gentleman, commented rudely, asking us to control the children. While we understand that shared spaces require mutual respect, we felt it was an unnecessary remark, as public places naturally involve a lively atmosphere. Despite this minor incident, the staff’s exceptional service and the lovely ambiance made our visit truly enjoyable. Definitely will visit againMore infoOrchid Tea RoomPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Egham•4.8
- TTaniaEast Sussex •3 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 26, 2024We dined here recently and the food is excellent. I had Venison with potatoes and my partner had the steak with chips and salad. We had the artichoke soup as the starter and my partner had a dessert (I can’t remember now which one but it was lovely). The waitresses were very polite. The reason for the 4 stars is that we another couple sat behind us had ordered similar to us but were served before us. When we were sat at the table before them.More infoThe Tudor RestaurantPrice: Expensive• British• Haslemere•3.7
- SNShihoNLondon •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 11, 2023I had a very relaxing time. The food was unique and different from afternoon tea in other hotels. I really liked the scones here. They were crispy, small, easy to eat and the jam was delicious. I was also happy that they provided high chairs for my baby. The atmosphere is casual, perfect for visiting with my kids. It was full when I visited. Everyone enjoyed chatting so I didn't have to worry if my kids were a bit loud.More infoAfternoon Tea at Petersham Nurseries RichmondPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Richmond•4.3
