Best Restaurants with Bar Seating in Sarasota

Reservation 8:30pm and was seated right away. Waiter warned us that with the holiday, that the kitchen and bar was really backed up and would take a while. Ordered right away. Beverages came right out but food came out at almost 10pm. Food was meh. Server checked in on us often and apologized non stop for the slow kitchen. We sat outside. Enjoyed the gorgeous night and time together and fortunately we weren’t starving so it didn’t cause any real distress. Was a good crowd. Valentine’s Day dinner but shocked the kitchen was so overwhelmed. If we had been hangry the experience would have ruined our date night. Not sure I’d go back for those reasons. But we had a great night nonetheless. 💓

We enjoyed Valentine’s Day dinner at the Cafe. Our server was wonderful and the hostess was very attentive checking to see if we needed anything. The mushroom soup and lobster bisque were delicious and both highly recommended. I ordered the duck and it was done to perfection. On our way out they gave us some little muffins from Soleil cafe bakery on nice touch. We will be back next trip to St Armand’s to try some other dishes.

Indigenous continues to be our favorite restaurant in Sarasota. We have been 5 or 6 times now and it is consistently excellent. Food is delicious and is comes from a variety of sources. Always fresh and tasty. The service is extraordinary. Although we are only seasonal residents of Sarasota, dinner at Indigenous is always a must for us.

Absolutely delicious Tried something new and was not disappointed I got the salt crusted sea bass. It was prepared table side Amazing as was the yellow tail special, the cappuccino and the ammerato gelato Yum
