Before the James Beard Award and the Gourmet Magazine review, Lotus of Siam was a small little hole in the wall located in Commercial Center in Las Vegas. November 1999 was the month Chef Saipin and her husband Bill took over Lotus of Siam. Since then, Thai food became an adventure for those willing to step out of their comfort zones for Asian Cuisine. Chef Saipin’s distinct cooking has been passed down from generation to generation, from both her grandmothers and her husband’s grandmothers. Her northern style cooking has opened America into the “Northern” world of Thailand, away from the Bangkok style of sweet and tang. The northern menu consists of hearty herbs and spices, along with Thai style stews and coconut-less curries.     Birthday’s dinner Waygu porterhouses steak, truffle Mac n cheese and fried onion rings. One of the best meals ever tasted. Chris our waiter was extremely helpful in guiding us on main selection and the size of the portions. Highly recommended Smith and Wollensky.

    Made this reservation on a whim and was NOT disappointed. Staying at the Paris and made a reservation to have a place. This was a wonderful experience and I would most definitely return and recommend. Service was excellent and the food was really good! I love a place that looks after you and has an attention to detail and that was what we experienced. I’m from Fort Lauderdale and eat out often. This place was top notch with food and cocktails. The restaurant has a beautiful feel and a wonderful view and it’s set so you have a table that you can speak at and not have noise around you. The staff is knowledgeable and on point. Go and enjoy!

    I’m very impressed with the food, drinks and services. It’s amazing and I highly recommend it. Definitely check out this delicious Thai Dish! My top favorite would be the rib eye salad and garlic prawns. It’s was so delicious! For cocktails drink I would recommend the Lychee Blossom and Thai Ice Tea.

    It was great overall. Corina was able to accommodate my party for 7 people an hour before our dinner. She made it worked and from there, we weee created with very friendly ladies at the check in. Our bartender made amazing drinks and I specially loved the Giada anniversary cocktail topped with champagne was delish!!! Our main server was good but the food starting from appetizers, main course to soufflé for dessert was the bomb! Not too salty and just the right amount of everything! The lemon spaghetti was my favorite and also tried the Veal. Everything was cooked to perfection! Highly recommend it!!!! Cheers and happy 2025😊
