- AAnnDallas - Fort Worth •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoClos Maggiore is a brilliant, atmospheric venue. The staff are warm, friendly and professional and the food is excellent. We were made to feel very welcome and despite the two-hour dining window allocated, there was no pressure on us to leave. This was our third visit and it was amazing every time.More infoClos MaggiorePrice: Expensive• French• Covent Garden•4.6

- MMeltemVIPBerkshire •14 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 11, 2024Cozy little hotel in the heart of Mayfair easy to reach… excellent tea setting, good food and one glass of champagne included! The scones were not exactly to my taste: I am more of a classic scone type. Service was excellent! Replaced tea twice, but a little hesitant when we requested a few more sandwiches which was strange considering we paid 5 star price for the experience? Overall quite satisfactory…More infoAfternoon Tea at Flemings MayfairPrice: Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Piccadilly•4.8
- SWStephanieWKent •8 reviews4.0Dined on Mar 26, 2024The Orchard Room is a lovely part of the Conrad Hotel. We arrived for our afternoon tea, unsure of where to go and the lovely gentleman from the concierge walked us to The orchard Room. He then spoke to a man in a black suit to let him know we had arrived and our booking name. However what happened next was not professional. He was telling the concierge gentlemen to take us to our seats and kept pointing at the table, as though he was too busy. There was only one other table having afternnoon tea! Eventually another gentlemen appeared in a grey waistcoat and took us to our table. We were then advised that whatever we didn’t consume we could take home. Fast forward… we were then advised at the end that we couldn’t take anything home. We felt that the conversation previously taken place, was conflicting. I don’t mean to say, but the gentlemen could hardly speak English, so there was a little confusion his end. We booked The Orchard Room from an instagram recommendation. The afternoon tea is £65. For this price we would have expected from the beginning to be shown to our seats, as oppose to to the Manager being ‘too busy’ and palming his duties off onto the concierge. On a positive note the afternoon tea was excellent. The table display, the crockery was simply outstanding. We will not return sadly.More infoThe Orchard RoomPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Westminster•4.4
