Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Cedar-Riverside

While the food was very good (vegan jumbolaya for me, vegan “salmon” for my wife), what we recall most is the noise level. I thought it was due to our sitting next to a large group and being close to the kitchen, but as I walked through the restaurant to use the bathroom, similar noise levels jumped out at me in pockets all the way through the restaurant. Due to the many choices of vegan offerings, we’ll be back but may have to be more selective on which days or times we go.

Food was delicious, service was excellent-always a great dining experience at Axel’s.

Wonderful food and fantastic service. That a restaurant in the Midwest can do Halibut perfectly is a sign of greatness.

Service was awesome. The steak Anna lamb chops were delicious. The ambiance was norm, nothing spectacular. Only reason I gave it a 4.

Wonderful experience doing something a bit more unique. This staff went above and beyond after our experience when a piece of jewelry was lost there. They made sure to help find such when the experience was being cleaned and helped save the day. Cannot rave about the above and beyond experience and help they’ve offered.
