- JJohnGreater Boston •4 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoYou can’t beat the fireplace ambience. So cozy. Great for a date. The food was delicious, however, the chicken Melanese was disappointing as it was just a fried chicken breast toped with romaine lettuce. The Salmon looked amazing though and the brussels sprout appetizers were delicious.More infoSouth End ButteryPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• South End•4.4

The wait staff (Ryan) and Manager, Maureen made him feel exptra special and paid very careful attention to his significant allergies. We had a great evening and I will definitely go back! Our Server Jessica was outstanding - attentive, thoughtful, and considerate. My NY Strip was slightly undercooked from my Medium request, but the kitchen was undoubtedly earning their keep on a busy night. Would definitely return, and this is a great spot to celebrate Valentine’s.More infoThe Banks Seafood and SteakPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Back Bay•4.5

There were a few menu items that we needed to clarify before ordering as we were unfamiliar with items...but all part of the fun. The food was outstanding, I tried the lobster with squid ink gnocchi ...exceptional! The restaurant is kind of cozy...small floor plan with a communal center table. It all works, but if you have a larger group..book ahead to get one of the separate side tables.More infoPammy'sPrice: Very Expensive• American• Cambridge•4.8
