Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Barrington

Excellent food, really great. We had the steak Perry’s and the filet both cooked perfectly. Kinda dark, hard to read the menu and slightly loud, but we are both north of 60. Service was polite and attentive. Interesting observation, I ordered a glass of wine, there are 2 options and prices, the waitress didn’t clarify or ask which I wanted, she just brought the larger more expensive size. Expensive, just under $300 including tip for 2 people, 1 lobster bisque (which was excellent) 1 wedge salad, 2 entrees, 1 dessert and 2 glasses of wine. The food and service was excellent, kinda pricey but we will be back.

It was a lovely evening with my Husband and adult goddaughter. We picked a good restaurant to celebrate Christmas. We were seated immediately with a reservation at 5:00. Having the smaller menu for the Christmas Holiday was a very good idea. You still had many choices and we never felt rushed. We enjoyed a leisurely dinner, with a cocktail to start and a delicious dessert. It was a good choice and never felt like we were being rushed. Glad we chose Palm Court Restaurant for our Christmas Dinner.

The receipts do not list the name of the employees "Bar B & Banquet #4" but going off memory the bartender was Sonya? I didn't get her name but overheard an employee calling her. Anyways, service all around was fantastic. I do not remember my servers name. Everyone was very attentive while not being obtrusive. The entire team having to work on Christmas so they can give me and my family a wonderful experience means a lot. Just wanted to say thank you for all you do and we are looking forward to a visit in the near future!

This is our place for special occasions and it never disappoints! The food is always fantastic and we can’t say enough about the staff. They are friendly and attentive and make you feel like they have known you forever.! There are so few places that you actually see management roll up their sleeves and pitch in when things get over-the-top busy! We will return again and again!

The ribeye steak was perfect, it had a delicious side sauce. We had a cheese board as an appetizer and it set the mood. Our wait staff could not have been nicer. It's our 3rd time at the Saddleroom and we will be back.
