Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Newtown

Our server Lindsey was outstanding. Food from appetizers to desserts was great. My only complaint was the valet parking was $30+ tip. A restaurant across the street allows you so much time of free parking while dining at their restaurant and they charge minimal beyond the allowed time. For a restaurant I had a reservation at, you’d think they’d have a better parking offer.

Nice varied menu; food was flavorful; fairly priced; friendly, attentive service. Nice pour on the drinks as well. I would return without hesitation.

I requested online our seating for the first time in music area for special dining occasion . Request was accommodated . Service was very attentive. Music area was unusually loud due to fun table of youth close by making normal conversation hearing difficult at times. Food was very good with large portions. Nice wine and dessert selection. Happy we tried music area seating but in future would prefer the normal new remodeled dining area as we enjoyed in the past . Looking forward to our next PT meal. We were treated special this visit by a friendly caring professional service staff.

this great restaurant is ALWAYS a "10" ! the service is perfect and food is deeeelishous!! everything abt it is consistent ! i try different things each time ..... the chowder is the best and i'm not a real seafood eater..... try it! i luuv the falafel and also the crab cake sandwich. my hubbie likes their steak! so glad that it's only 10 minutes away! it's my' go to' place!!!

They are doing a price fixed menu right now, 3 courses for $35. Had the calamari which were excellent. Seemed fresh, not frozen. The filet and crab cake were both great. Tiramisu was an excellent finish to the meal. Highly recommend Bella Tori
