- BBrianCalifornia Central Coast •9 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had a great time here! Great food, awesome vibe, everything was really good! There were 4 of us and we had the Burger, Steak Dianne, Beef Cheek Stroganoff and the Rigatoni (which IS freshly, house -made rigatoni, despite what the "Karen" from TX wrote/reviewed) and then we split an amazing Creme Brulee! Definitely recommend!!More infoWayfare TavernPrice: Moderate• American• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.6

I have some food allergies so I had emailed The Post Room Team in advance and received a prompt, reassuring reply from the chef, Jose, who had clearly given my questions thoughtful and thorough consideration. On the day, I received personal service from Jose who was committed to avoiding issues with cross-contamination. All the food we ate was delicious and the dining room team could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. We were so well looked after, it was a faultless festive experience. We only went out for our Christmas meal this year because I had recent hand surgery and can’t cook much. However, our experience at The Post Room was so delightful, I am considering doing it again next year. Thank you to Jose and the whole team.More infoThe Post RoomPrice: Expensive• Californian• Downtown / Union Square•4.1
- TTaffyNew Mexico •7 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe returned for a second visit this holiday season; it was wonderful. Got adventurous and had the creamed corn. I noticed my daughters snuck more than an initial half teaspoon taste. It was very, very good. Not watery creamy. This had a nice texture. Try it! The prime rib was exceptional. I had the smaller portion. One daughter had the thinner slices. One daughter had the regular cut. All were sumptuous! Had a baked potato instead of the mashed. It was yummy. We ordered an apple crisp to share between the three of us. It was delicious with a nice amount of apple slices hidden under the topping and surrounded by the usual warm spices. Our server was great! She was friendly, attentive but didn’t hover. Thank you all for a wonderful evening! I may not be back for a while. Palo Alto daughter is moving to Duarte. CA this summer. If she needs help moving, we’ll have to do a farewell visit at House of Prime Rib. Again, thank you!More infoHouse of Prime RibPrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Civic Center / Hayes Valley / Van Ness•4.8

- AAnnaSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoWe LOVED this restaurant. We sat inside so we couldn’t see the movie, but that wasn’t really an issue. The restaurant itself was stunning. Our server David was absolutely lovely. He really made our experience. The food was great, we got the smoked salmon, burrata with pears, sesame chicken, and pork chop. Everything was delicious. For dessert we got crème brûlée and a sort of chocolate mousse. Fantastic. It’s an expensive date but you pay for the food and the experience. Would go again!More infoForeign CinemaPrice: Expensive• Californian• Mission•4.8
