Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Norwood

We had a lovely lunch at the Ho Ho Kus Inn. The entrees were great—burgers, Cobb Salad and a chicken dish. I didn’t care for the appetizers; warm pretzel was doughy inside and dates wrapped in bacon had very burnt bacon and dates were weird, and not like a date at all. My friend makes these and they are so good. These were not. But everything else was very nice. The server was very very nice and attentive just as you would like. Will return.

The atmosphere, food and service were and are top notch. It’s not easy to maintain consistency in 10,000 sq ft and run a tight ship. The star of the show is steak… Benjamin’s has a terrific formula.

The food is excellent and well plated. One thing that could make the restaurant superior is that the waiter, upon taking an order, might suggest a wine variety that might compliment the entre selection.

It was Christmas Eve and the restaurant was full! Service was awesome— food came out timely and hot! Great dinner!

One of the best dinner experiences I’ve had. A perfect evening of warm friendly service and delicious food. Decor is inviting too. A wonderful upscale dinner. I have been here before and I will be back again. Warm light flaky bread, house chips, Red sangria, stuffed shrimp, paella Marinera, a bonus after-dinner-shot on the house for our anniversary, tres leches cake with a hot cappuccino. Mmmm mmmm everything was so good and the outstanding personal service was deeply appreciated. You will not be disappointed going here for a drink, tapas or dinner.
