Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Truckee

Cora was perfectly attentive. I especially value when servers don’t just bust in while we are talking but also walk by and can tune into what we need, when we need it. Teresa the bartender was engaging, offered a creative twist on our beverage we didn’t end up preferring, and she handled it perfectly. The food was exceptional. Love the new menu. The food was not only DELICIOUS, it was also presented beautifully which also added an extra touch of class. Love the Sawyer and will keep coming back.

Food was excellent and the service was top tier. The waitress was very attentive and friendly, and seated us next to the fireplace when the patrons left. That was a nice touch because it was snowing, outside, so the fireplace made the ambience nice and cozy.

We had the roasted chicken breast and short ribs. Delicious. Our waiter, Michael, was very pleasant and attentive.

Amazing experience, as per usual. Matt was very helpful and had extensive menu knowledge, and Carly and Chef Chris made the visit so incredibly pleasant. Will be back

Great food and great service with a beautiful view of the snow covered mountains. The menu has a variety of good options and the portions were generous.
