Bar Red is located just east of Colfax and Glenarm, two blocks from the Colorado Convention Center and directly across Colfax from the Golden Triangle. Bar Red offers Authentic Italian cuisine. Happy hour from 4pm-7pm and dinner from 5pm to close. The menu was prepared by Chef Luke McCoy. Chef Luke is classically trained in French and Italian Cuisine. This was our first time eating at Red Square. We enjoyed the food. Our server did a great job and accommodated us when we requested to get our ticket in a timely manner in order to make it to the theater. We had schnitzel , pasta, and pierogies . The Panna cotta dessert was very tasty.

Went here 2x when in Denver this fall. For a tavern, the food was extra good. For lunch, the Caesar salad was among the best I've ever had, and the shrimp salad sandwich with tarragon was excellent. For dinner, for vegetarians they had a tofu steak with potatoes and vegetables that was also top notch. Drinks were good too. Service was attentive and friendly without being bothersome. And its location in the spectacular Brown Palace hotel can't be beat.
