Best Restaurants with a Vibrant Bar Scene in Middle Village

My daughter and I wanted an intimate dinner for Thanksgiving and it’s exactly what we got. Food was delicious, the views were astounding, service impeccable.

One of the best high quality steakhouse anywhere including New York. Every course of out dinner was absolutely phenomenal. Fantastic number of menu choices. Great service.

We were looking for a new place that had great food, service and ambiance. Maiella hit a home run on all three. The menu has so many great options to choose from. The table-side cacio e pepe was one of the best we’ve had. It’s a nice add to have it made right at your table. We had chicken parm and branzino and both were equally delicious. They come with either a side of pasta or vegetables. For desert we had cheesecake and Affogato. This just sealed the deal for for an already amazing meal. Additionally, I am very big on customer service and they make sure they deliver in this area. Anthony , the manager, is a really nice guy. Stopped at our table to ensure everything met our expectations. He shared some stories with us about the restaurant and food. He makes sure all your expectations are met (even exceeded) and what sets this place apart from other restaurants in the area. We look forward to Maiella being a regular place for us and can’t wait to go back and try some other dishes. Lastly, the the ambiance with the views of NYC make this a place you won’t mind sitting for an hour or two. If you haven’t already, definitely try this gem.

Sweet place with a great atmosphere. Staff was friendly and attentive. Endive salad was superb. Octopus fresh and well presented. ONLY criticism- leave the croutons out of the squash soup- no need.

Excellent experience as per usual! Nick’s should be your new favorite place if you have never been. The Queens GO TO restaurant!! Enjoy again and again :) Super attentive staff and owner—always making it a fun time!!!
