- WWesleyPhiladelphia County •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoTo be fair, I personally went to Almanac for drinks and so the food rating was based upon price point, uniqueness, and description. However, best you make your own decisions. The drinks, service, price and ambiance were terrific. I was treated with kindness the moment I walked in and those feelings of kindness, joy of service and attention to detail did not diminish as my evening went on. The head bartender, Rob, and his amazing second, Jordan, were absolutely incredible and I was lucky to be able to watch them in action at the bar. They talked happily with patrons while offering challenging options to customized drinks. I personally had a highball (refreshing and great start to the evening), a Kasugai Sour (a personal selection by the bartender, Rob), and ended my evening with a House Punch (a selection by Jordan). Almanac was incredible. With a focus on slowing things down and savoring every moment, with and without a drink, it was well worth the wait.More infoAlmanacPrice: Expensive• Cocktail Bar• Old City•4.7

We did not know being Christmas Eve of the kitchen was closing early which we were not thrilled about because we had a later dinner reservation and it forced us to order before we wanted to. The server also had a few miscues on the timing of things sending out the food too early but they rectified it and it was all okay. We both have the cream of crab soup which was very very good. I have the crab cake and the server said it was considered some of the best in the city and I would agree with that it was all pure crab meat no filler.More infoLoch Bar - PhiladelphiaPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Center City•4.5
- GGinger AnaVIPPhiladelphia County •57 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThe burners and my chicken club were so reasonably priced, I also had a cocktail and kennel was barely $40. My chicken portion was very generous. We had kids with us and they have high babies. They threw their dinner all over the floor by the waitress was very gracious about it. Deposits beings Saturday night it was still appropriate for little kids. Can’t wait to return without them next time, lol!More infoKook Burger & Bar - PhiladelphiaPrice: Moderate• Sports Bar• Rittenhouse Square•4.2

- LLaurenPhiladelphia County •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 18, 2024Came here to celebrate my birthday and we absolutely loved it. On the expensive side but so worth it. We had the dynamite sushi roll and a special sushi roll of the night and they were probably one of the best we’ve eaten, very fresh and flavorful. The special 28oz tomahawk was perfectly charred and so juicy. And the lobster Mac tied it all together, so amazing and cheesy with a whole lobster on top. They gave us a free desert for my birthday, which we got the warm butter cake and all I can say is wow… such an amazing desert. And to top it all off, our server Allegra, was impeccable. So attentive, made great recommendations, and did not miss a beat. All staff were super nice and made my birthday celebration great.More infoOcean Prime - PhiladelphiaPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Center City•4.7
