- SsharonVIPDenver / Colorado •50 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoA perfect evening! This restaurant has always been one of my favorites. My husband and I have been enjoying it for many years but this particular evening it seemed particularly special. Food was superb(best ever chopping). Our waiter was extremely attentive with one of the best voices I have heard (should be on the radio). The piano player always enjoyable even on this quiet evening playing my requests with his friend, whose birthday was his 96th, serenaded us. On a somewhat somber day which would have been our daughter’s 30th birthday, it turned into a night of joy!More infoThe Perfect LandingPrice: Moderate• American• Englewood•4.7

It was a lovely experience - not inexpensive, but since it's not an everyday outing, that was fine. The room was beautiful, the food was very good, the tea selection was excellent and the service was outstanding. However, it IS Denver and it DOES get cold here in the winter; it was uncomfortable in the atrium and most people kept their coats and scarves on. It's too bad the Brown Palace Hotel hasn't figured out a way to combat the frigid outdoor temperatures better. Since we 'dressed up' for the occasion, it was a shame to have to keep our outerwear on the whole time. Overall, a fun experience.More infoThe Grand Atrium at the Brown PalacePrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Downtown / LoDo•4.4

We did bring 2 of our kids. 1 ordered from the kid menu and the other didn’t. Kid menu is great but if ordering from the main menu, they need somewhat of a mature pallet. My wife and I will go back for sure….we just may not take the kids next time. They did put a birthday card on our table signed by the staff, which was a really nice touch! Well done.More infoBlack+Haus Tavern - ParkerPrice: Moderate• American• Parker•4.6

The Staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Last minute decision due to extenuating circumstances… but a wonderful gathering for our family.
