- PPaulVIPSt. Louis •201 reviews5.0Dined todayWe had an excellent dinner at The Main House. It was a snowy evening but it was still relatively busy. We were seated promptly in the booth we requested, and greeted warmly by our server. We started with a couple of Old Fashions and they were very good. Wedge Salad was excellent and big enough to share. My wife had a filet and I had the beef tenderloin. Both were excellent! Buehler Cabernet paired well and was a good choice. The Chef/Owner stopped by to make sure all was well which we always appreciate. Jordan did a great job as our server! Indoor space is beautiful and very well done. Look forward to returning soon!More infoThe Main HousePrice: Moderate• American• St. Charles•4.7

- JJoeKansas City / Kansas •15 reviews5.0Dined todayInitially I was reluctant to go here since it is a hotel restaurant but the weather was not good so we went. Good choice! My wife got the burrata caprese salad and I had mushroom and black truffle soup. The caprese was delicate and the soup was rich and perfectly prepared. For main courses my wife had la classics lasagna napoletana, which was firm and deeply meaty, quite delicious. I had the tagliatelle don Alfronso, which was to die for. The sauce with their home grown tomatoes was exquisitely sweet and the home made pasta perfect. I’m of Italian ancestry and have been eating Italian food my whole life and I cannot recall something this delicious, even when we’ve been in Sorrento. The service was attentive and helpful and the owner interested in our thoughts. Highly recommended.More infoCasa Don Alfonso - The Ritz-Carlton St. LouisPrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• Clayton•4.3

The dessert portion was excellent. It is way overpriced but still a neat event. Honestly though we will likely skip the tea in future years and just do happy hour at the sushi bar instead. The Tea price is close to the price of afternoon tea at the Plaza in NYC but does not hold a candle to the Plaza’s tea.More infoThe Ritz-Carlton St. LouisPrice: Very Expensive• American• Clayton•4.4
