Best Restaurants for Local Ingredients in Gastown

My wife and I recently celebrated our anniversary, and they surprised us with a beautifully designed dessert that added a special touch to our celebration. The dessert was not only visually stunning but also delicious, making the evening truly memorable.

When in Vancouver, a visit to Hawksworth is always in order. I decided to try the seasonal tasting menu. The selection looked impressive on the menu. It exceeded my expectations as I savored each bite. Thoughtful wine pairings complemented each course. Top marks for service and presentation. The sea bass, duck, and sunchoke ice cream were stellar. For the price, such fare is great value. The attentive service only contributed to the experience. I highly recommend Hawksworth.

We had the Mezza Board and it was fantastic and filling. Delicious food and great value. Lots of food on the boards!

So good, I went twice in a week! If you are looking to eat, go anywhere, but if you are looking for a true food experience, ELEM is it. Upon entering the restuarant, the vibes, the sounds, the different rooms, the food, the drinks..represent the concept, all the elements! Yes, it may be pricey, but if you want creative cocktails, well thought out food, and hospitality and service that understand and combine all the elements for a food experience that you can't find else where, ELEM is it!

Great atmosphere with good food and service. Sat in the bar area and that was very nice.
