ELEM is a new restaurant and cocktail lab on Main + 5th. Guests can expect to indulge in Top Chef Canada alum Mayekar’s bold cooking, featuring creative flavour-packed dishes that highlight the unique spices from cuisines around the world with local ingredients, alongside Winnie Sun’s inventive, element-inspired and sustainability-driven cocktails.ELEM’s food menu is an exploration of flavours and spices from all corners of the world, including Bangkok, California, Spain, Mexico, Italy, and Mumbai – all inspired by Mayekar’s extensive travels and Indian heritage. There will also be a big focus on local BC-grown ingredients.     We loved our first experience at ELEM for my birthday. Everything was spectacular, from the service, to food and drinks. I would highly recommend ELEM to all those who are interested in trying unique dishes with fusion flavours and carefully crafted cocktails down to the scientific level. I must highlight the service and the attention each server, bartender, and busser paid to us throughout the night. It truly made it unforgettable and we cannot wait to come back.

    We love the Fable family of restaurants,this was the first time visiting the Richards street venue and it won't be the last!We started with the lemongrass chicken meatballs that were juicy and delicious.My son had the duck confit and ravioli while I went for the turkey sandwich, like Christmas Day dinner on two pieces of bread!Both delicious! We saved room for the lemon meringue parfait,the toasted topping really made it! Wish I caught the name of our server,he was excellent. Lovely evening out,will visit again next time we are in Vancouver Scott

    The restaurant had a casual setting. We went there for the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinner buffets. The buffet had lots of options to fit everybody’s tastes. The food was excellent and the service was as well. Prices were very reasonable.
