- JJasonAlabama •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 30, 2024I really can’t imagine a more exceptional dining experience. Room, service, music, and vibe all work in concert to provide a welcoming, comfortable experience. The food and service were exceptional. Plenty of information without seeming burdensome. Honestly one of the finest meals of my life. Opted for the 5 vs. 7 course tasting menu and could not regret more. Will absolutely return to this restaurant. For clarity sake, I reside in Alabama, US. Will return to Montreal, I in part, because I must dine here again. Food which spoke to me like a childhood memory. Made me dance like music. Amazing.More infoAlma MontréalPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Mexican• Outremont•4.8
- MmichaelNew York City •17 reviews4.0Dined on Oct 18, 2024Bungalow has essentially a classic bistro menu with some updates. Fried calamari with salad was an excellent appetizer for two people to share. It seemed fresh and well-prepared. Mains of steak (cooked exactly as requested) and navarin d'agneau (underseasoned) were perfectly fine withoug being at all distinctive. In short, exactly what I usually want from a bistro: a predictable meal of good quality ingredients, classically prepared with no surprises. On the night we were there, it was not at all crowded, so noise level was fine. But we could easily hear the conversation of a table at the other end of the restaurant, so I imagine it might be noisy when full.More infoRestaurant BungalowPrice: Expensive• Market Cuisine• Plateau Mont-Royal•4.7
