Best Restaurants for Local Ingredients in West Vancouver

This is the third time I’ve dined at Archer. I initially came for the gorgeous interior design I saw on instagram. The cocktails and food turned out to be spectacular as well. The staff couldn’t be more accommodating, professional and warm. It’s an all around epic experience. I highly recommend coming for a special occasion or just when you feel like elevating your day.

I am a connoisseur of real steakhouses in North America. We came to Vancouver, BC to see if Gotham Steakhouse was a real steakhouse. It did not disappoint! We started with a GreyGoose Martini and were soon met by Jaime. He was terrific. The house was appropriately dark setting the mood. Jamie made excellent suggestions with respect to value and quality. We paired our porterhouse with an excellent Argentinian Malbec and the sides were amazing. The porterhouse was properly Reverse-Seated and perfection. My wife was speechless over the flourless Chocolate Bourbon cake. As we finished up the lounge began a very talented piano bar set to close out the evening. This is how a Steakhouse should be. If you know what your doing this is an excellent choice. If you don’t stick to fast food.

It was our first time going there and we will definitely be back. For a downtown Vancouver restaurant I think the price was VERY REASONABLE and the quality of the food was Very Good! We were there on a Saturday evening and I was surprised that it was not more busy. The server was SOOOOO KIND. We had tickets for a show and we mentioned that to her when we arrived. After our food was delivered she looked at the time and aware that we would need to be leaving soon. She took the initiative to ask if we wanted anything else before the bills were delivered. She made some food and drink recommendations and everything was very good. I was very impressed and happy with our experience!! Thanks!

The restaurant had a casual setting. We went there for the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinner buffets. The buffet had lots of options to fit everybody’s tastes. The food was excellent and the service was as well. Prices were very reasonable.

Went for dinner on Christmas Eve. Pretty small spot, but vibes were good, noise was perfect to have a pleasant conversation and not have to yell or struggle to hear across the table. Food was delicious and portions were pretty generous. The Katsu taco board was killer! Would recommend
