In the heart of Houston’s Montrose neighborhood, MARCH Restaurant is an intimate Mediterranean restaurant from Chef Felipe Riccio. Serving both 6 and 9 course tasting menus, we study the gastronomy, history, and cultures of the region to answer the question:“What is Mediterranean cuisine?”After many years of personal and professional exploration of the Mediterranean – including extended stints at three-Michelin-starred Osteria Francescana and Azurmendi –Felipe has brought this spirit of exploration back to his home in Houston. The word ‘MARCH’ signifies an area of land on the border between two territories; a frontier between realms. The menu is the team’s love letter to the Mediterranean where we will explore the unique, layered evolution of its many connected cuisines, with beverage pairings/selections artfully curated by partner and Master Sommelier, June Rodil, and the acclaimed beverage team.

Echoing the mission of Lucille's Hospitality, which is committed to “Serving the Past, Feeding the Future,” Late August’s menu explores the culinary heritages of Chef Chris Williams and Chef Sergio Hidalgo by bringing the dishes and flavors from both their youths and the experiences to date creating a culturally culinary celebration.

The food is excellent. Keep in mind that Thai spice is very hot compared to what I'm used to. The mild spice is very spicy (i love spicy food). I would go for the mild so you can enjoy the food.

Everything was excellent! Paola, our server was extremely knowledgeable and friendly! We took all her recommendations and loved them. The LA bbq seafood was so flavorful. We met one of the owners, Danny and he gave us more background on the inspiration and culture behind the restaurant. I love their focus on giving back to the community and using local foods. Will definitely be back.

This was a nice experience. It is intended to be an occasional, special event type of dining. Be prepared to be impressed, since it was indeed a michelin star restaurant experience for us. If you're on a budget with dining out, this place is not for you. They definitely spent time in crafting the menu and doing research on it. Presentation was remarkable. We appreciate this place, very much. Stop by one day and have a wonderful experience.
