Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Fair Haven

Food was wonderful. Atmosphere was a louder than expected on day after Valentine’s Day. Some of the steak was too chewy. Chicken and vegetables was good. Service was horrible. Salad came to the table twice prepared incorrectly. Server rarely visited our table. The booth next to us received 5 star service and we wish we had that server.

The place was great. Think the food was a tad under. Had the Branzino and the flavor was excellent but the crust could be flakier. My date had the short rib and it also had great flavor but could’ve been brought up to a higher temp to be more tender. Atmosphere was great! We appreciated the coat check as well. Want to come back for drinks soon.

Our reservation was at 4, we walked in and was seated immediately. The noise level was great they had light music on dim lighting and everyone was polite. Our food was out in 5 minutes we ordered the sweet and spicy shrimp. I gave that a 7 out of 10 it wasn’t hard enough for the main course we had the New Orleans grill.. Mmmmmmmm so flavorful with a lot of spice 10 out of 10!!! And the price was great it had steak,mashed potatoes, sausage and shrimp on the plate. It’s not a big plate the serving is like a sample of everything. It was just right for me!!1 we’ll definitely be back!!! The staff was so pleasant. Customer service was 10 out of 10

As always, The Capital Grille did not disappoint. We go 3 times a year for birthdays and anniversaries. It is always a difficult choice as to what to order. From the lobster bisque to the wedge salad, steaks, lamb chops desserts. Customer service is second to none. Just attentive enough but not intrusive. Our favorite restaurant. Wherever we travel we look to see if a Capital Grille is nearby. Our waitress Lindsey was wonderful!
