- AAaronDallas - Fort Worth •16 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoNormally, if I order a tasting menu at a restaurant, I feel like I have seen all the restaurant has to offer, at least for that season. It is satisfying, but I am not looking to go back next week because I have seen it all. Yet, our tasting menu experience only made us want to go back and explore more of the regular menu. I kept looking at other tables in awe of their dishes, too. And well, who could pass on butter chicken. So dinner was perfect, and there is still much to be explored.More infoMusaaferPrice: Very Expensive• Indian• Galleria / Uptown•4.7
- JJayleenHouston •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoI took my mother here for her birthday Jan 5th, 2025 and we had an outstanding dinner experience. We went on a Sunday at 5:30pm and there wasn’t many other tables there, and throughout the entire night even when the restaurant filled up, the noise level was still low, very intimate vibe. Throughout the dinner, we had the manager constantly checking up on us to make sure everything was good, very friendly and receptive to any feedbacks we gave her. We ordered 2 drinks, 5 order of nigiris (each nigiri order comes in 2), 2 maki roll dishes, and two main dishes, and 1 dessert (got a bonus dessert because it was mom’s birthday), total came out to be $273 (without tip) and I think that’s pretty reasonable. I HIGHLY recommend the Nigiris, very fresh and delicious. For our main dishes, I ordered a Miso Black Cod and found bones in it, so be careful while consuming this dish, but overall, great seasoning and flavor. My mother main dish was the Surf Turf Saltado, sadly her tenderloin were burnt, the lobster piece was okay and seasoning was underwhelming, she didn’t like it much (they did not charge us for this, which was very kind of them). but overall, all the other dishes were great, you can see our rating below: - Komorebi (drink N/A) - 2/5 - Hanayome (drink) - 3.5/5 - Seaweed Salad - 4/5 - Maki - Flaming King Crab Roll - 4/5 - Surf & Turf Roll - 4.5/5* - Nigiri - Madai (Japanese snapper) - 4.5/5* - Hamachi (yellowtail) - 4.5/5 - Hotate (scallop) - 3/5 - A5 Wagyu (Miyazaki Prefecture) - 4/5 - Unagi (eel) - 5/5* - Miso Black Cod - 4/5 - Surf Turf Saltado - 1/5 (tenderloin was burnt) - Matchamisu - 3/5 - Special Strawberry Dessert - 4/5More infoAzumi - HoustonPrice: Expensive• Japanese• River Oaks•4.7
- AAliciaHouston •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis was my first time at Uchiko. It exceeded expectations. My guest & I dined Omakase style and the selections were Ahhmazing. There were only a couple that we didn’t like. When we didn’t fully enjoy our server offered replacements-OUTSTANDING service! We did a weekend happy hour which pretty quiet. Parking was easy complimentary valet or self-park. Ummm, yes of course I recommend.More infoUchiko HoustonPrice: Very Expensive• Sushi• Galleria / Uptown•4.8
