Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Flat Rock

Took my husband here as a treat for his birthday. Everything was outstanding. While menu prices are generally up there, we were allowed to split the 4 course tasting and that was great: neither one of us could have eaten that much solo (we were both stuffed by the time we got through it), it allowed us to try several things on the menu (which we wanted to do, because there were so many things on the menu that sounded so interesting and appealing), and we didn’t completely break the bank. Our server was wonderful - friendly, prompt and informative. Neighborhood was quiet and interesting (next Corktown if you ask me) and there was a private parking lot for the restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience!

Maryanne was our server. She was exceptionally helpful in describing some of the salad options. She was very attentive. Brittany was most engaging and added to the great time.

Great restaurant. Food is always creative and delicious. We come here often, and there is always something new to try. The service is also outstanding.

Everything was delicious as usual. The scallops were a favorite and the celery for pastry dish was a surprising second favorite to the majority of the table.

The food was excellent! The service was subpar. It cost over $300 for four of us with no alcohol purchased, so we expected the whole experience to be outstanding! It took a very long time for our waiter to come back to check on us for a drink and dipper refills throughout the entire evening. I also had an OpenTable reward that I used my points for that didn’t end up working at the restaurant. It was supposed to be a $20 reward, but it only equated to $10 at this restaurant, and then ended up not working. Thankfully, the restaurant still took the $10 off. Their service needs to be much more attentive for a restaurant of this caliber.
