So you ask why Wanda Byob? Wanda Pollyana Boos/Lipot was my Mother and my inspiration to become a Chef. Wanda was an amazing cook who actually had some serious training in her country of Trinidad and Tobago. In fact, one of my most prized mementos is my mother's... her cooking manual from Naparima Girls High School in Trinidad. What started as my mother's inspiration many years ago has turned into a career that I love and am very proud of. So here I am, my mother's son, who has spent 38 years in the kitchen, perfecting my craft. We had such an excellent experience tonight. Our server Ryan was knowledgeable and friendly. Made awesome recommendations. We were very well tended to. Food was also outstanding. This was by far the best experience we had at Buddakan.

I have had the pleasure of dining at Fiorella's several times before, both in the downstairs dining area and with their pasta club dinner series. This was the first time, however, we visited with an 8 month old. Friends of ours were in town from California, and we really wanted to show them an example of a dinner that makes us appreciate Philadelphia so much. The staff was incredibly patient and accommodating with our young pasta lover. The noise level and other diners that evening made our experience feel simply like you were eating in a friend's living room. We're grateful for Fiorella's in many ways, and always suggest this restaurant for smaller, more intimate gatherings for friends and family.
